He (and I) witnessed OLPC and other mesh networks in congestion collapse
without understanding why until recently. Multiple other people have
confirmed the issue on various other wireless networks.

Bufferbloat mostly affects newer wireless devices that have excessive
buffering in their tx dma queues, but also huge txqueuelens are doing us
in!
