Depends on how you build your network. If you have a lot of short ptp links in
your "mesh" network 60GHz is maybe interesting for you.

"IgniteNet uses the X610 chipset in their MetroLinq TM PTP60-35 a and PTP60-19
point-to-point radios" [1].

Maybe one of the Freifunk communities will test one in the future.
