To validate diversity routing, you can do a simple test with 6 routers:

R1
|
R2 - R3
|       |
R4 - R5
|
R6

R2-R3, and R4-R5 are linked with ethernet, R3-R5 and R2-R4 are on
different wifi channels.

Stupid routing protocols will route via R1-R2-R6.
