Hey everyone

A summary of latest updates:

  * mass mails now sent with celery in the background, you can start
using this feature to contact all your users:
    https://github.com/ninuxorg/nodeshot/issues/179
  * removed possibility to turn off pagination in the API (was
    deprecated and removed on django-rest-framework):
    https://github.com/ninuxorg/nodeshot/issues/179
  * cleaned up some really shitty JS:
    https://github.com/ninuxorg/nodeshot/issues/197
  * "images coming soon" message hidden because useless, plus image
uploading feature won't be here anytime soon (probably in beta)
    unless someone else starts contributing
  * added possibility to disable some features that on the UI are active
    by default: https://github.com/ninuxorg/nodeshot/issues/198
  * added possibility to close registration:
    https://github.com/ninuxorg/nodeshot/issues/199

Now you can find information on:

    http://nodeshot.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/ui.html#nodeshot-ui-comments-enabled
  * how to disable nodeshot.community.participation altogether:
    http://nodeshot.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/participation.html#how-to-disable
  * how to close registration and hide the signup buttons on the UI:
    http://nodeshot.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/profiles.html#nodeshot-profiles-registration-open
  * how to disable the need of email confirmation for new users:
    http://nodeshot.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/profiles.html#nodeshot-profiles-email-confirmation
  * how to disable the experimental websockets module:
    http://nodeshot.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/websockets.html

If you have an instance running and you need help on how to update
contact me in private.

And if you can star the *JSON for networks* repo and promote the new
initative you would make all the community networks a great favor:
https://github.com/interop-dev/json-for-networks

Thanks
