[ninux-not-wireless] GMail, tag, etichette, e-mail duplicate

Oggi parlavo con uno sviluppatore circa un cambio di indirizzo di posta
elettronica, che mi accingo a fare. Si parlava di filtri per infilare
automaticamente le e-mail delle mailing list in delle sotto cartella,
eccetera, quando la discussione è finita sul sistema di gestione e-mail
di Google. Da lì tutta una disquisizione sui tag vs i filtri e del fatto
che utilizzando questi ultimi pare che si finisca per avere e-mail
duplicate ed altri problemi. Ho provato ad approfondire, ma dopo un po'
sono stato "accannato".
Qualcuno ha avuto una esperienza simile con la e-mail di Google? Vi
incollo un estratto della conversazione.
Io di solito uso i filtri di Thunderbird, mentre il tipo della chat (m.)
utilizza i filtri su mail server. Non capisco da dove provengano le sue
preoccupazioni
