Simulating a wifi environnement is pretty hard.

So I do not believe in virtualisation for wifi.

But to test some wired parts of the routing protocol, injecting
virtual 1000 nodes in the network, why not.

If you use openvz, I have an openwrt image laying around.

But I remember having seen some LXC stuff floating around the confine project.
