Hm. Lego Mindstorms robot gets to my mind. ;-) But it is not so fast.

But a car with a battery powered node, driving at a known speed near the
mesh and seing if it connects and sustains the connections, could be
"repeatable" enough.

Depends on the topology of the location in Athens.
