[Battlemesh] Custom Dual AP antenna setup for one router antenna plug

I have searched about this kind of idea before but did not find any
relevant information so i though, maybe someone here tried it.

Here is the idea:
1 router with one physical antenna or configured to use just one antenna
.(lets say the one from the side)

Then with an sma-rp plug spliter will get 2 sectorial or directional
antennas pluged

The point is to use 2 physical antennas connected to one router antenna
plug.

These 2 antennas would be pointed in opposite directions. For example:
North and south.

In theory this would avoid to use 2 router setups and also the use of
omni antennas

Has anyone tried something like this or has any idea of the outcome in
terms of this setup actually work properly ?
Any feedback is welcome.
