One simple test would be to set the txpower to 1dbm.

There is no need to shout that loud if your neighboor is 5m away.

And/or fix the bitrate to a particular value (5mbps for ex).

Also, there is a need for a map of airtime consumption, you cannot
understand the results without understanding the physical layer.

I listened to the discussion about the testbed yesterday, to have
worked on the tested for wbmv1-4, I came to the conclusion there is a
need to have an outdoor tested to validate the tests. There is low
chance that you gonna get scientific reproductible results out of a
testbed made up during WBM, at least I gave up on that.

I think Dave has a location in California where a permanent setup
could be installed.
