On https://test.map.ninux.org/ you can see the basic features working.

We have:

  * text pages
  * node list
      o basic pagination (no URL routing yet)
      o basic search
      o basic statistics about nodes
      o add node
  * map
      o add node
      o legend
      o hide/show nodes depending on status (by clicking on the legend)
      o hide/show nodes depending on layers (by clicking on the righ
        panel "layers")
      o search address
  * general site-wide search (searchs in nodes only at the moment)
  * sign in
  * sign up
  * social logins (they should all be working now)
  * profiles
  * notifications (if you signup for a new account they will be enabled
    by default)
  * websockets (for real time notifications without the need to refresh
    the page)
  * turn off/nodes from the map

The test instance is updated with fresh data from map.ninux.org every 12
hours, if you have an old nodeshot instance you can start doing it too,
more info here:
http://nodeshot.readthedocs.org/en/latest/topics/oldimporter.html

The test instance will be updated automatically once we get the jenkins
config right, we should achieve this next week with Stefano.

After that we'll have everything we need to start iterating and testing
with real users to get to the beta release. Then I am confident I'll be
able to get more funding to keep working on it because we are not the
only one who need such a system.

If you have time, please play with it and send feedback with feedback:
criticism, bug reports, patches are very welcome.

We are particularly interested in getting the install & deploy procedure
smooth and easy. So if you are more prone to sysadmin stuff you could
help too.

For those who are coming to the battlemesh (i know many didn't answer to
my previous email because they are already on their journey): see you there.

For those other who are not coming but would like to meet us one day, we
could see each other at the next International Summit for Community
Wireless Networks in October.

I'll also be at this event in Orvieto, Italy next month:
http://2014.djangovillage.it/ , if you like django stuff get a ticket
and come, it will be fun!
