[Nodeshot] Refactoring doubt: device fields firmware and OS

 First question is really easy.

 Premise:
 many database tables have a schemaless field which can contain any 
 (secondary) additional field which was not thought before;
 but for important fields is probably good that they have their own real 
 field

 In the Device table at the moment we have "os" which stands for 
 "operating system" and "firmware", both are optional fields.

 Does it have sense to have both? Or in case of embedded device the OS 
 field should be filled with the firmware name?
