These are my personal views:

In my humble opinion you should reconsider on the contrary it might be an
opportunity to enlighten more people as this article seems to do.

And maybe more important to interact with people that have maybe different
positions.

We are all facing interesting situations for example in the EU any WISP /
ISP has to comply with compulsory data logging and user identification.

Concerning possible hostility towards yourself I am sorry I can not take
that seriously :)
