Yeah, I was a bit disappointed at that. But then we only ran the test
for 60 seconds. Might need longer to collapse completely...

I'd be wary of concluding too much about the behaviour from this one
test run. There is so much variance that I'm not sure I would conclude
that they are meaningfully different.
That being said, I have seen immensely asymmetric throughput in similar
tests before, but it depends on driver configurations which direction
tends to win.
