Hi dear battlemeshers,
(sorry for mixing the edition numbering and wbm9 is first :) we
believe I (we the fathers and wbm10 organizers) should be at wbm9 in
order to prepare, discuss and have the best hands-on (firmware, tests,
hardware, radio organization, local repo...) preparation for wmb10.
>From the pad draft of next location, I can't see if there is a
short-list location and maybe a date idea ? Of course location is
important (community, venue and local support) and Europe is good
continuation of previous wbm but US/Africa/Asia is making the event
global as well as making the venues of european battlemeshers more
>From the first support of german cousins (Simon, Marek,...) there is
clearly a motivation to prepare in advance wbm10 in France and find
the best location/dates to announce at wbm9.
Also, battlemesh github is getting more populated + youtube archives +
test/stress of network (I like the Toke approach of "blowing up the
network" and find the limits of a network with the best stress tools)
and the battlemesh does not finish on the last "physical" day but
keeps on between event.
See you soon.
