My Airport Extreme Base Station, which dates from the days of draft-n, is basically that spec.  It was slightly harder to get proper GigE equipment back then; there were still a lot of PCI (not PCIe) chipsets being built into things, and GigE switches had a significant price premium on them.

These days it’s noteworthy (in a bad way) when a budget laptop comes with Fast Ethernet instead of GigE.
