I don't operate the node, but I've been told that it runs stock Ubiquiti
AirOS 6.2.0.

FunkFeuer has had DFS issues with Ubiquiti before, and their release
notes for new AirOS versions regularly mention fixes to their DFS
implementation, e.g.

Then I think it's not your fault (assuming you keep the firmware
up-to-date.)

If you know and can afford to avoid the frequencies, that's the safest
solution. For Europe, our contact showed us this map of radar locations
and frequencies:

You can check with heywhatsthat.com whether a radar is in line-of-sight
to your deployment.

That's an excellent question. From what I learned, they can only report
interference to the radio authority, who then tries to find the person
operating the problematic station and make sure that their config is
fine -- correct regulatory domain, DFS on, sane TX powers, all that.

However, there doesn't seem to be a channel from the radio authority to
the equipment manufacturers if the problem lies in the hardware or firmware.
